SuperSport Announces New Changes As LA Liga Resumes This Week On DSTV.
As LA Liga resumes this week on the 11 of June, SuperSport has promised new mindblowing changes on its DSTV live sports channels for viewers due to the absence of live crowds in the closed-door stadiums.
Spain’s LA Liga will resume with Real Betis battling Sevilla after which other clubs will begin playing fixtures over the following weekend.
The innovations are to be implemented at a time when the much-awaited Spanish football league resumes after weeks-long unprecedented lockdown to eschew virus spread across the world.
Changes to be expected are;
- There will now be a virtualisation of stands and fan audio.
- And, new camera positions and the images they will offer to viewers.
There was an anticipation matches would be seen differently due to lack of real stadium supporters.
And, Yes, they will be different, but not so boring as LA Liga broadcasting options promise a surreal atmosphere for everyone watching from home.
Virtual sounds recorded from real stadiums by LA Liga official sponsor EA will be digitally adapted during matches.
Scaled images of fans, seated and/or ecstatic in time of a goal will be virtualised. They will also be wearing playing-team colours.
LaLiga president Javier Tebas said:
“We have made these broadcasting changes so fans can enjoy LaLiga. We work with global partners to offer a great viewer experience. We are in an exceptional situation, but for us, it has been important to be able to adapt and offer a compelling, cutting-edge broadcast to our fans.”
