Mzansi Magic debuted another proudly South African soapie titled Gomora in mid-March 2020. The show has received nothing but thumbs up from viewers who can not seem to have enough of the 30-minute drama series which aires on Mzansi Magic channel 161 weekdays at 1930hrs. The characters and storyline have had people at the edge of their sits. One such character ks Ntokozo (played by Ntobeko Sishi).

On-screen, Ntokozo is the son of Melusi and Gladys. He is extremely smart and very good-looking. However, he has always struggled in his family. From the outside, it looks like he has it all – the good looks, the intelligence, the perfect family. But it’s hard being Ntokozo. He feels enormous pressure to perform, but also has an extremely strict family environment.

He’s an alternative RnB singer highly influenced by AfroBeats and Hip Hop

Before landing Gomora, his first major acting role was on SABC 2’s Signal High.

So talented is Ntobeko Sishi that he got a nod from Boity in Twitter and fans agreed.

Besides his stellar-performance on “Gomora” which has captured the hearts of many, it’s his incredible singing abilities that have caught the attention of many including TV personality turned rapper Boity.

In response to a recent video of Sishi singing, the “Wuz Dat” hitmaker expressed on Twitter: “A gem. The future is here.”

DStv Access subscribers who have been enjoying Gomora will be sad to know that their  favourite show will no longer be viewable. This is because DStv stopped the free channels they had given all subscribers access to since the beginning of the lockdown on South Africa. Mzansi Magic was one of the free channels.
