Bobby Brown’s Son Dies At 28

2020 has been a very rough year!

Tragedy has hit once again in Bobby Brown’s house. The New Edition founding member’s son, Brown Jr., passed away at 28.  According to the Los Angeles Police Department,  they found Bobby Junior’s lifeless body at his Los Angeles home on Wednesday.

According to reports, Police responded to a medical emergency at 1:50 p.m. to find the deceased male, later identified as Brown Jr. there’s no suspicion of foul play and the cause of death is under investigation. Bobby Snr. lawyer, Christopher Brown stated that Bobby Brown Jr. had “flu-like symptoms” in the days leading up to his death.

A devastated Bobby Sr. shared a statement to the media that read, “Please keep my family in your prayers at this time. Losing my son at this point in our lives has devastated my family. There are no words to explain the pain,”

Bobby Jr. was one of the two children between Bobby Brown and Kim Ward. He was following in his famous father’s footsteps in music. One of Brown’s seven children, he and half-sister Bobbi Kristina appeared on the family’s single-season Bravo reality show ‘Being Bobby Brown’.

This is yet another tragedy for Brown who lost his 22-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina in 2015. She was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Georgia home. Bobbi Kristina suffered irreversible brain damage that put her into a coma for six months before she died. This occurred three years after Whitney Houston’s death who was also found unconscious in her bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Bobbi Kristina’s ex-fiancé Nick Gordon, also died earlier this year of a suspected overdose.

Following the news of Bobby Jr.’s passing, his brother Landon shared a black-and-white photo of him on Instagram, writing, “I love you forever King.”
